When you hit level 80 it may seem like you’ve completed the game but as many veterans will tell you, this is where the game begins! With an array of different activities to choose from, this article will give you an idea of whats in store once you hit level cap.

Not everything on the list requires you to be level 80 however most people tend to complete the MSQ before doing much else.

Hunts

Join a hunt link-shell to be notified of hunts happening around Eorzea. This involves teaming up with multiple parties on your server in order to take down a rare mob.

PVP

Fight in 3 different modes against other players in order to compete for the objective. The PVP modes are as follows:

  • The Feast
  • Frontlines
  • Rival Wings

Raids

Each expansion has its own set of raids and savage raids that can be found in the duty finder after completing the pre-requisite quests. Additionally you can take part in alliance raids which involves 3 parties teaming up to complete a raid.

Crafting/Gathering

If making Gil is your thing then levelling a crafter is the best thing you can do. It’s worth it to level the respective gatherer for your craft so you don’t have to pay for crafting ingredients.

Deliveries

Deliveries are a great way of getting a bunch of experience and scrips for your gathering and crafting classes. Deliver requested collectables to NPC’s around Eorzea with rewards depending on the rating of the item.

Wondrous Tails

The Wondrous Tails gives you a reason to run through some of the older content, as you complete the raids, dungeons or trials you will obtain seals that give you rewards depending on the layout.

Glamour

Glamour allows you to change the appearance of your armor to a different piece of armor in the game. This allows for clever designing when it comes to your characters appearance.

Beast Tribes

Gaining reputation with beast tribes will give you access to vendors that sell a variety of different goods including:

  • Mounts (1 Per Beast Tribe)
  • Minions
  • Furnishings
  • Dyes
  • Materials

Eureka

Eureka takes you into a instanced area where you can team up with players in order to compete in FATEs and kill mobs. It even has its own quest line! However the most notable thing about Eureka is the magia board which allows you to increase your stats dependant on the element you choose.

Treasure Maps

Find treasure maps when gathering and use them to uncover random rewards such as tomes, rare materials and hidden dungeons.

Palace Of The Dead/Heaven On High

POTD and HOH are Final Fantasy’s deep dungeons. During these runs you will start again at Level 1 and level up as you battle your way through countless floors. Ideal for leveling your second combat class!

The Golden Saucer

The Golden Saucer is the place you can go to relax after a long day of grinding dungeons. Take part in a handful of games such as Chocobo Racing, Triple Triad and other mini-games!

Thanks for reading the article, I know there is a lot more that can be added to the list and I will probably add more over the following weeks however if you have any suggestions then comment below!
